Maryborough State High School currently uses BYOxLink (BYOx2.0) to enable students to use their privately owned devices to access school email, learning applications, printers and shared network drives at Maryborough State High School. As part of BYOxLink project rollout, Maryborough State High School's wireless systems will be updated to handle access from private devices and Microsoft Intune; a mobile device management platform, will also be introduced.
The Student Charter agreement provides more information regarding intune and what is required.
What does this mean for you?
There are two things that you and your child will be required to do:
- Read & Complete the New BYOxLink Student charter agreement attached, sign and send back to the school either by email:
itsupport@maryboroughshs.eq.edu.au or by your child to student services.
- Your child to then come to IT Support (Located in School services) for the IT Team to onboard their device to the network.
