At Maryborough State High School, our Programs of Excellence are designed to nurture talent, inspire passion and provide students with opportunities to thrive academically, athletically and creatively. We are committed to helping our students reach their full potential by providing pathways that challenge and extend their learning.
Our Excellence Programs are offered across three key areas:

These programs provide an environment where motivated students can extend their skills and knowledge while developing a strong sense of personal achievement and confidence.
Applications for 2027 Year 7 Students
Applications for our 2027 Excellence Programs are now open and must be submitted by 3:30 pm, Friday 18 August 2026.
To be eligible, your 2027 enrolment form must also be submitted by this date also.
You may apply for more than one Excellence Program.

Trial Dates:
Gala Day Wednesday 7 October 8.30am – 3pm
Second trial Wednesday 14 October 3.30pm – 5pm
Cultural Programs
Dance Audition Date:
Tuesday 6 October 7.45am – 10am
