Equipment required for the first week back: pencil case, one exercise book for SKILLS, BYOx device (please ensure this has been onboarded in the week prior), morning tea, lunch, water bottle, money for Tuckshop if required.
To ensure our students have a smooth transition to secondary school, we have organised three days of orientation lessons, commencing on Tuesday January 27, 2026.
Students will receive their regular timetable on Thursday 29 January, in a lesson dedicated to learning how to read a timetable, find their classes and know what to pack each day for their classes. This is when they will learn which electives they have, and therefore booklist items can be purchased accordingly.
On Thursday 29 January in Period 4, all Year 7 students will receive their FREE Maryborough State High School hat, according to their Sporting House colour, during our Junior Assembly in the MDC. We allow students to wear their primary school hat or a bucket hat until then.
